Philosophers have argued for centuries about how many angels can dance on the head of a pin, but materialists have always known it depends on whether they are jitterbugging or dancing cheek to cheek. - Tom Robbins

Holly has been a certified ballroom dance instructor since 1978, and has taught thousands of people to dance, whether as a couple or single. Ballroom dance includes waltz, fox-trot rumba, tango cha-cha, merengue and samba, as well as salsa and the various forms of swing like jitterbug, and of course New York hustle. She also learned and performed Victorian and Ragtime era dances with the Elm City Vintage Dance Troupe.

Dance lessons can build the confidence for newlyweds dancing their first dance, or to enjoy the dance floor on a cruise, high school reunion, bar/bat mitzvah, company party or nightclub. Private lessons can address lead, follow, rhythm and style.

For weddings, picking out the favorite song for the bride and groom, mother and son, or father and daughter dance, can be a special challenge. With her help, you can learn how to dance to the chosen selection, and to add the flourishes that will please your audience and make the dance memorable.

She can lead group classes at your church, synagogue, senior center or community center for any age and is especially good in getting people over shyness, and up and dancing together.
